WE HAVE LIFT-OFF!!!!
Well, it's been a busy weekend. First, I finished my 'Four Huntsmen' painting. Struggled with the foreground and the sky. It didn't quite look right on Friday, so after a while staring and contemplating I decided to add some dry grass in the foreground and darken the sky to create a 'storm brewing' atmosphere. I think that the fact that there are four horsemen and the sky shows signs of a storm following them and heading in our direction. The picture also kind of reflects the coming of the four horsemen in Revelations.
Anyway, now that the painting is complete, and Phoebe kindly helped to translate my website into Chinese ( I did actually try tio translate it myself with the aid of Google but it was terrible), it's finally ready to launch. I'm writing this on Sunday evening, so hopefully I will have one final check through it tomorrow and LAUNCH! Hooray!
My eyes are going crazy looking at the screen for so long! I'll be blogging at least once a week and you can follow the progress of my latest painting. I'm currently working on a couple of portratis of my dogs, having a brief rest from 'INSPIRASIAN'.
